A cold day on Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill can offer fantastic views into Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, but today the views were limited to just Leicestershire. The air was cold and damp and there was very little visible life around.
Bardon Hill could be seen in the west, but most of the eastern hills were just shadowy outlines.
Loughborough was clearly visible down below the rocky cliffs.
A Carrion Crow (Corvus corone) waited in the car park for food oportunities.
